The Role: Team Manager - Workshop

Almarai is seeking a Team Manager - Workshop to organize and control assigned work by scheduling, supervising, and assisting mechanics and technicians operating on shift. This full-time position is based in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves planning and implementing training for workshop staff, adopting a mentor approach to ensure that assigned staff possess the required skill levels to effectively maintain the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day workshop operations, including staffing, monitoring, and quality control.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and repair documentation, ensuring compliance with company SOPs, safety policies, and manufacturer procedures.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and maintain good housekeeping practices within the workshop.
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cost comparisons, and recommend technically sound, cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure effective and fair utilization of workshop staff using the SAP Fiori platform.
• Generate staff performance reports using SAP Fiori data.
• Monitor assigned work, track KPIs, and recommend training requirements based on competency and skill levels.
• Maintain and update the workshop staff skills matrix.
• Maintain asset records for workshop equipment, report defective or damaged equipment, and recommend repair solutions when required.
• Analyze oil analysis reports and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and train technical staff.
• Experience with maintenance record-keeping and compliance procedures.
• Proficiency in using platforms such as SAP Fiori for operational management and reporting.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within a dynamic multinational team, contributing to Almarai's growth plans. The role is based in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
