The Role: Technical Lead

Mohammad Al Habib Real Estate is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join a landmark high-rise buildings project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading technical coordination, design management, and engineering execution for a prestigious large-scale development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the multidisciplinary Technical Team (Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural), providing centralized technical support to all project sites.
• Review and approve design deliverables, shop drawings, and technical submittals prior to issuance to site teams.
• Ensure technical compliance with the Saudi Building Code, international standards, and the relevant hotel brand's technical and design standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, designers, contractors, and client representatives to resolve technical and design queries.
• Oversee BIM coordination and clash detection across all disciplines to ensure constructability before construction proceeds.
• Evaluate and approve value engineering proposals and alternative technical solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship and escalation support to site engineering teams on complex issues.
• Monitor emerging technical risks across projects and report status, issues, and recommendations to senior management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Proven experience in delivering high-rise tower developments or mega projects in Saudi Arabia.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong background in design coordination, technical management, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with international building codes, BIM processes, and modern construction technologies.
• Professional certifications are considered an advantage.
