Technical Support Engineer

About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing essential technical guidance to customers and the sales team, conducting product application demonstrations, and ensuring that products meet established standards.

Role Overview

The Technical Support Engineer plays a crucial role in product validation and technical compliance. This includes performing product sample applications at customer sites to secure approval, as well as testing new and modified products against specified standards. The role also involves analyzing competitive products to inform research and development efforts for strategic advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and support to customers and the sales team.
• Perform product sample applications at customer locations to facilitate product approval.
• Conduct tests on new and modified products to ensure adherence to product standard specifications.
• Analyze competitor products and offer recommendations to the R&D department for competitive enhancement.
• Assist in updating technical specifications (TDS & MSDS) for all products.
• Review technical displays such as brochures, catalogues, videos, and stands for technical compliance.
• Conduct regular research and studies on existing market products, sales and project needs, and new project specifications.
• Identify gaps in the product range and collaborate with the R&D team to develop suitable solutions.
• Research and study new application techniques and paint tools.
• Support the execution of training programs for the sales team, carpentry professionals, and clients.
• Provide consultation for customer complaints, offering appropriate solutions.
• Document and report all related processes to the direct manager.
• Ensure compliance with 5S principles and safety regulations in all application areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on all instruments.
• Execute activities related to the function using safe and environmentally friendly methods.
• Undertake any other job-related tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Technical Support Engineer will work within a team environment, collaborating closely with sales, R&D, and customers to ensure product quality and technical excellence.
