About the Technology Architect Role

Devoteam is seeking a skilled Technology Architect to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on leading enterprise architecture, digital and cloud transformation, and technology consulting initiatives. The role is central to driving the adoption of innovative technology solutions that align with client business objectives and enhance their efficiency and competitiveness.

Enterprise Architecture Leadership

The Technology Architect will be responsible for defining and implementing enterprise architecture (EA) strategies that directly support client business objectives. This includes developing technology and infrastructure architectural models that illustrate how current and future organizational needs will be met in a sustainable and adaptable manner. A key aspect of this responsibility involves leading governance processes for new architectures, ensuring adherence to company standards and IT budgets.

Driving Digital and Cloud Transformation

This role involves guiding clients through digital transformation initiatives to improve business strategy effectiveness. The architect will design and implement technology infrastructure solutions aimed at enhancing business processes, customer engagement, and operational efficiency. Furthermore, the position requires evaluating emerging technology trends and their potential impact on client businesses. Responsibilities also extend to developing and executing cloud migration strategies, including platform selection and determining migration scope. Advising on optimal cloud architectures and services to meet client needs, while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security, is also a core function.

Technology and Infrastructure Consulting

The Technology Architect will provide expert advice on the design, procurement, and implementation of IT hardware and software. This includes analyzing existing technology environments to identify deficiencies and recommend appropriate solutions. Oversight of new system deployments and ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure are also key duties.

Stakeholder Engagement and Project Oversight

Collaboration with IT and business leadership to understand their vision and challenges is essential. The architect will communicate technology strategies to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and alignment. This role also involves leading and mentoring team members to foster a collaborative environment and enhance technical and professional skills. Additionally, the Technology Architect will oversee multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring deliverables are met within budget and time constraints, and identifying and mitigating risks effectively.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in technology architecture, digital transformation, cloud strategies, or IT consulting. A strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks is required, along with experience in guiding clients through complex technology initiatives.
