The Role of Technology Systems Manager

The Technology Systems Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s technology systems and infrastructure. This position oversees enterprise applications, systems administration, integrations, cybersecurity coordination, vendor relationships, and overall IT service delivery. The primary objective is to ensure that all technology solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, and fully aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of IT systems, applications, servers, networks, and cloud platforms.
• Lead the implementation, configuration, integration, and maintenance of business systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security to ensure optimal operation.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, migrations, backups, and disaster-recovery processes.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and the resolution of complex technical issues and system incidents.
• Coordinate with various departments and business units to gather and analyze technical project requirements, communicating them effectively to consultants.
• Support the implementation of IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, and new system deployments, in collaboration with consultants.
• Maintain and regularly update project files and documentation to track service deliverables and monitor project progress.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Technology Systems Manager position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in managing technology systems and infrastructure.
