The Ritz-Carlton, a global leader in luxury hospitality with over 100 award-winning properties, is seeking a Telephone Sales Agent - InRoom Dining to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals and is crucial in delivering the exceptional guest experiences that define The Ritz-Carlton brand.

Role Purpose

The Telephone Sales Agent for InRoom Dining is responsible for managing guest orders and inquiries efficiently and professionally. This role ensures seamless communication between guests and kitchen staff, contributing to a high standard of service delivery and guest satisfaction within the hotel's in-room dining operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take room service orders accurately over the phone.
  • Answer guest questions regarding menu selections, checking with kitchen staff as needed.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns about the origin, vintage, and style of various wines.
  • Place and log call-backs for room service orders.
  • Notify guests and management promptly of any service delivery delays.
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the day.
  • Record all transactions accurately in the MICROS system at the time of order.
  • Complete all closing reports, including MICROS reports.
  • Process all payment methods securely and efficiently.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Complete all required safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Support the team to achieve common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

  • Minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional appearance and conduct.
