About the Role
Tencent is seeking a Senior Direct Sales Manager for its Cloud business in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on driving growth and accelerating the go-to-market strategy within targeted markets by developing key partner relationships to generate new service opportunities and expand existing ones.

The Cloud & Smart Industries Group (CSIG) is responsible for promoting Tencent's cloud and industry internet strategy, leveraging cloud, AI, and network security to create innovative solutions for smart industries and drive digitalization across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize networking and prospecting to generate and engage client leads, identifying product and solution-based sales opportunities.
- Present relevant Tencent cloud products and work with clients to identify needs and respond to RFPs.
- Collaborate with Sales Architects, product teams, and other internal stakeholders to propose suitable product/solution offerings.
- Achieve and exceed sales goals, sustain revenue growth, and provide recommendations for account expansion and revenue potential.
- Prepare and execute account plans, status reports, sales and revenue forecasts, and ensure quota attainment.
- Develop a strong understanding of Tencent’s cloud offerings to meet customer needs with service solutions.
- Develop strategic plans based on industry trends (*, Media, Entertainment, Edtech, Ecommerce, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare) and customer analysis.
- Manage the sales lifecycle for all accounts, including internal account management systems and profitability checks.
- Develop and manage high-value relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with various internal teams for business contracts and commercial negotiations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5-10 years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or related technology industry roles.
- Proven ability to generate and pursue opportunities for selling, upselling, and cross-selling through successful strategic account management, meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and Arabic.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex customer environments and challenges.
- Proficiency in consultative and insight-based selling, with experience engaging and influencing C-level executives.
- Knowledge of Public Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- A strong aptitude for technology and a keen interest in learning about the latest developments.
- Ability to localize products and solutions to meet market and customer needs.
- Demonstrated ownership in ambiguous situations and during challenging periods.
- Capability to manage multiple internal and external group communications for coordination and collaboration.
- A "hunter" mentality with an outstanding ability to close sales.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of work experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Customer relationships within the Internet & Media sectors (entertainment, e-commerce, ed-tech, gaming).
- Experience working with or interacting with hyper-scale cloud providers.
- Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
