About the Waiter Role

Marriott International is seeking a Waiter to join our team in Riyadh. Role Contribution

Key Responsibilities

• Set tables according to established standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and guest requests.
• Interact with and serve guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and supplies.
• Contribute to creating and maintaining a safe workplace environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Uphold quality standards for service and presentation.

• Read and visually verify information, including menu management details.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a hands-on approach and involves significant physical activity. Waiters will be on their feet and moving for extended periods, including standing, sitting, or walking over various surfaces such as sloping, uneven, or potentially slippery areas. The position involves:

• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent is required.
• Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this position.
• License or Certification: No specific license or certification is required.
