Wholesale Banking Business Finance and Product Control Manager

About the Role

SAB is seeking a Wholesale Banking Business Finance and Product Control Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting key financial and product control processes within the Wholesale Banking division, ensuring adherence to regulations and effective risk management.

Core Responsibilities

• Strengthen control over Product Control processes and procedures, ensuring documentation and reporting of all control weaknesses.
• Report financial and non-financial incidents to business heads and Operational Risk.
• Review new policies, regulations, procedures, and guidelines to ensure smooth and timely implementation.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure Murex system readiness for new regulations, requirements, or procedure changes.
• Review new product proposals, including related accounting requirements and market risk impact analysis.
• Support Murex system capability/feasibility reviews for new products to ensure timely readiness.
• Oversee the mentoring and review of Balance Sheet (BS) and Income Statement (IS) balances, movements, and trends to identify unusual activities and advise on corrective actions.
• Assist management with System Controls and Gaps, fostering effective engagement with the business to create strong partnerships.
• Develop valuable financial, feasibility, profitability, and cost savings modules, ensuring proper measurement and monitoring of financial aspects.
• Explain and analyze variances in depth by identifying drivers and causes, and recommend corrective actions.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a team focused on financial and product control for Wholesale Banking.
