About the Wholesales Specialist Role

The Wholesales Specialist is a full-time position based in Riyadh, responsible for achieving targeted sales plans for each distributor. This role involves comprehensive management of distributor accounts, encompassing sales, delivery, collection, and credit management, all while adhering to applicable regulations and controls. The specialist acts as alfanar's primary representative to its distributors, ensuring their interests are met, their rights are protected, and fostering the continuity of business relationships to achieve the company's strategic sales and marketing objectives in the wholesale market. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve targeted sales plans for assigned distributors.
  • Manage distributor accounts, including sales, delivery coordination, collection, and credit management, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors to ensure satisfaction and foster loyalty.
  • Represent alfanar to distributors, protecting their rights and ensuring business relationship continuity.
  • Conduct periodic interactions with distributors to gather feedback and understand their needs.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within distributor accounts to drive business growth.
  • Research market trends and customer preferences to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Address distributor concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain positive relationships.
  • Communicate distributor requirements and challenges to internal teams for resolution.
  • Monitor service delivery to ensure distributor satisfaction and timely fulfillment of commitments.
  • Track sales activities and distributor engagement metrics.
  • Prepare and share performance summaries with the sales team or management.
  • Maintain accurate records of distributor interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, product, and marketing, to meet distributor needs.
  • Share distributor feedback with internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in coordinating efforts to implement distributor-specific requirements or initiatives.

Core Accountabilities

  • Maintain and enhance HR proficiency through updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job.
  • Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets, utilizing resources effectively within cost and time constraints. Provide periodic reports on deviations and task execution.
  • Solve operational problems as they arise and escalate complex issues to appropriate channels.
  • Ensure adherence to quality requirements, contributing to effective quality control processes and product/process specifications.
  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible to improve business processes.
  • Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
