About the Senior ELV Engineer Role
Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented Senior ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Engineer for a full-time position in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to a major infrastructure project, focusing on the design, integration, and commissioning of advanced automation systems, particularly Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks and Building Management Systems (BMS). The objective is to ensure seamless, smart, and energy-efficient operations across the development.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, approve, and oversee the integration of complex SCADA and BMS architectures, ensuring effective communication between HVAC, lighting, power, fire, and security systems.
- Evaluate contractor submittals, shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and sequences of operations for adherence to project specifications and international automation standards.
- Lead witness testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for all SCADA software, PLC panels, and BMS field devices.
- Conduct technical evaluations for the procurement of controllers, sensors, network switches, and software platforms to ensure system reliability and security.
- Coordinate with mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and ICT teams to resolve data integration issues and ensure protocol compatibility (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 7 years of dedicated engineering experience in ELV systems, with a strong, proven track record in SCADA and BMS implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation/Instrumentation, or a closely related field.
- In-depth knowledge of automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, Profibus), PLC/RTU programming concepts, and graphic user interface (GUI) configuration.
- Certified training in major automation platforms (*, Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or Rockwell) is highly valued.
- Direct experience on Saudi Arabian giga-projects (such as NEOM, The Line, or Red Sea Global) is heavily preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Candidates must possess deep knowledge of automation protocols, PLC/RTU programming, and GUI configuration. Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory, with the technical clarity required to present solutions to clients and direct multi-national contractors on-site.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position requiring relocation to and work within the Tabuk region of Saudi Arabia.
