About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in ICT/ELV systems to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience to design, implement, and maintain Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for significant commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive ICT and ELV systems, including network infrastructure, building management systems, CCTV, access control, and security solutions.
• Produce detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation utilizing AutoCAD or comparable design software.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the seamless integration of ICT/ELV systems.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to define project requirements and identify constraints.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of ICT/ELV systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within existing systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and industry trends in ICT and ELV systems.
• Ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian building codes and relevant international standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in ICT/ELV engineering, with a preference for experience on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in the design and implementation of network infrastructure, building management systems, CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian building codes and regulations pertinent to ICT/ELV systems.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ISO, IEC, and ANSI.
• Expertise in using AutoCAD or similar design software for technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, RCDD, or PMP are considered an advantage.
