About the Role

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company is seeking a Reliability & Asset Principal Engineer to join their team in Tabuk. This full-time position is a high-level technical role essential for the operation and maintenance of facilities, focusing on improving asset performance, reliability, and lifecycle management. The engineer will ensure critical equipment and systems perform optimally, minimize downtime, and maximize return on investment. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with strategic insight to implement asset management and reliability engineering best practices, support maintenance strategies, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead asset lifecycle planning, including acquisition, operation, maintenance, and disposal strategies.
  • Develop and maintain the asset register and criticality rankings.
  • Analyze asset performance data to identify trends, optimize performance, and extend asset life.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations to develop capital and replacement plans.
  • Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA).
  • Develop, review, and refine preventive and predictive maintenance strategies using Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
  • Implement reliability improvement projects for critical assets and systems.
  • Monitor and optimize key reliability metrics such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and asset availability.

Technical Leadership

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for condition monitoring, asset health, and reliability tools.
  • Lead cross-functional reliability improvement teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Interface with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), vendors, and contractors to resolve complex technical issues.

Systems and Tools

  • Utilize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platforms for maintenance planning and analysis.
  • Support the implementation of digital tools such as Asset Performance Management (APM), Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, or data analytics platforms.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to communicate asset health and reliability performance.

Experience and Work Type

Candidates should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time position based in Tabuk.
