The Role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Engineer ICT Instrumentation & Controls to join its team in Tabuk, specifically serving projects in Duba and Tabuk. This full-time position involves performing detailed engineering assignments, developing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met. The role requires developmental experience in a professional engineering position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specific and moderate portions of broader engineering assignments.
• Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures.
• Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Propose approaches to solve new problems using modifications of standard procedures or methods from previous assignments.
• Identify discrepancies in results and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers on technical concepts and best practices.
• Perform tasks in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
• Independently complete all tasks necessary for primary design elements of engineering works.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and system analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, quality assurance specialists, and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and oversee testing protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and control system issues, implementing solutions to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations to improve system efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant professional engineering position.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed engineering assignments and develop technical documentation.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex instrumentation and control systems.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, with work supporting projects in Duba and Tabuk.
