Role Overview

The Shift Engineer is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of all hotel plants, equipment, air-conditioning, and other systems. This full-time role ensures that all engineering and maintenance activities meet professional standards, prioritizing guest comfort and safety. The position involves supporting the needs of the business, guests, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the daily work schedule, manage scheduled maintenance, and respond to guest requests and emergencies.
• Collaborate with other operational departments to enhance performance.
• Inspect and maintain all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services, including air conditioning, water, and fire safety systems, to meet required standards.
• Communicate with all hotel departments to ensure the proper functioning of their equipment for operational smoothness.
• Coordinate with external contractors and assist external inspectors during inspections as directed by the Assistant Director of Engineering/Engineering Supervisor.
• Perform other necessary tasks to ensure seamless operations.
