The Role of Spa Receptionist

As a Full-time Spa Receptionist at Miraval The Red Sea in Tabuk, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests seeking wellness experiences. This role is essential for the efficient operation of the spa, requiring exceptional customer service and the maintenance of a welcoming and calming environment. You will possess knowledge of all spa treatments, retail products, and services offered across the resort, contributing to the guest experience and supporting revenue generation through mindful upselling and cross-selling in alignment with guest needs. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests professionally and provide information on spa treatments, wellness programs, and fitness services.
• Manage guest bookings and scheduling for spa treatments, fitness programs, and wellness services.
• Provide detailed information about retail products and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes, handle payments, and assist with guest inquiries.
• Foster a calm and welcoming atmosphere, tracking guest preferences to ensure needs are met.
• Support daily operations of the Life in Balance Spa, maintaining an organized reception area.
• Provide operational support in the Body Mindfulness Center, Aquatic Center, or Serenity Center as required.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of retail products and spa supplies, ensuring product availability and cleanliness.
• Handle guest transactions accurately, including cash, card, and POS payments.
• Complete end-of-day reports, handovers, and daily financial summaries.
• Assist with inventory checks and stock management of wellness and retail items at the reception area.
• Maximize revenue through mindful upselling and cross-selling of retail products, spa services, and wellness offerings.
• Build positive guest relationships through attentive, welcoming, and personalized interactions.
• Collaborate with spa therapists, fitness instructors, and wellness professionals to ensure integrated guest experiences.
• Manage guest appointments and assist with administrative duties such as guest record management and report preparation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury spa or hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing bookings, inventory, and administrative tasks.
• Proficiency in handling transactions and completing financial reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a diverse team.

Work Environment

The work environment for this role includes both indoor and outdoor settings as operational needs dictate, within the Miraval The Red Sea resort located in Tabuk, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
