Sales Supervisor

About the Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking a Sales Supervisor to join our team in Taif. This full-time role involves managing a team of Salesmen and overseeing sales and distribution activities within assigned routes. The primary objective is to ensure that sales and secondary distribution efforts align with company policies to achieve established sales targets and other key performance indicators.

Key Objectives

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for guiding and motivating the sales team, optimizing sales routes, and ensuring the effective execution of sales and distribution strategies. This position plays a critical role in maintaining market presence, managing customer relations, and upholding product quality standards across the designated area of responsibility.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist the Area Sales Manager (ASM)/Branch Manager (BM) in setting sales targets for the team and provide guidance and motivation to achieve them within agreed costs.
• Gather and maintain information on relevant sales and distribution channels and competitor activities, sharing insights with the ASM/BM for appropriate action.
• Ensure all sales staff are trained and effectively execute the company’s Replenishment program, maintaining optimal product availability and freshness.
• Execute agreements with Modern Trade and Wholesale customers as instructed, fostering strong business relationships with customer representatives.
• Optimize daily journey planning for salesmen in cooperation with the team and in alignment with the ASM/BM to maximize productivity and ensure customer recognition.
• Monitor product shelf life at points of sale, ensuring proper product rotation, preventing expired product display, and controlling wastage according to company policies.
• Initiate and organize sales to new clients within assigned routes, aligning with relevant departments and S&D plans to drive sales growth.
• Implement the approved company credit policy, managing credit and collections for all sales in the area to ensure timely payments.
• Ensure all company assets are well-maintained and initiate necessary repairs or replacements.
• Manage the sales team in line with SADAFCO’s HR policies, ensuring adequate staffing levels and quality, and providing training for new recruits and existing staff.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry, administration, and reporting for the area using MSFA (Mobile Sales Force Automation) in accordance with S&D policies.
• Conduct daily MSFA endorsements with each Salesman, reviewing performance and identifying opportunities for action and follow-up.
• Ensure sales vehicles are clean and tidy, and salesmen’s uniforms conform to company standards to maintain a professional company image.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess 5 years of relevant experience in sales supervision or a similar field within the foodstuff or dairy industry.
