About Miraval The Red Sea

Miraval Resorts & Spas, a global leader in luxury wellness and part of the Hyatt portfolio, is expanding into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through a partnership with Red Sea Global. Miraval The Red Sea brings three decades of wellness expertise to one of the world's pristine marine environments in Umluj, Tabuk. This adults-only, all-inclusive sanctuary focuses on transformational and immersive experiences that nurture physical and emotional wellbeing, promoting "A Life In Balance" through mindful connection with nature.

The Host Role

Miraval The Red Sea is seeking a dedicated Host to join its team in Umluj, Tabuk. This full-time role is central to ensuring guests receive professional and courteous services that align with Hyatt’s Miraval brand standards. The Host contributes significantly to the overall guest experience by maintaining high service quality and operational efficiency within the resort's Food & Beverage outlets.

Guest Service Responsibilities

  • Deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service consistently.
  • Provide excellent service to internal colleagues across departments as appropriate.
  • Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
  • Maintain positive interactions and foster good working relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Establish rapport with guests to build positive customer relationships.

Operational Duties

  • Ensure minimum brand standards are implemented and adhere to all “Touches of Hyatt” and the Food & Beverage Top 20.
  • Respond to Consumer Audit results and implement necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with other outlet associates in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on overall hotel success and guest satisfaction.
  • Greet and seat guests accordingly.
  • Compute bills, present checks, process payments (cash, credit cards), and issue receipts to guests.
  • Record amounts received, prepare transaction reports, and verify cash register totals against cash on hand.
  • Quote prices and describe features of menu items, recommending Food and Beverage combinations and upsell alternatives.
  • Perform daily transactions and make necessary checks for specific functions.
  • Process cash refunds or issue credit memorandums for returned merchandise.
  • Operate the Micros System and cash register proficiently, verifying cash and credit card validity.
  • Strictly adhere to all policies and procedures issued by the Finance department regarding cashiering and cash handling.
  • Report and explain any discrepancies in outlet checks, daily transactions, and reports.

Professional Conduct and Brand Adherence

  • Support the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt’s Values and Culture Characteristics.
  • Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
  • Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules and Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the hotel's policies concerning fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
  • Exercise responsible behavior at all times, positively representing the hotel and Hyatt International.
  • Remain motivated, competitive, and accountable, possessing a solid understanding of current local and international industry trends.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required and respond to changes in the Food & Beverage function as dictated by the industry, company, and hotel.

Qualifications and Work Environment

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • The role operates within Food & Beverage Outlets, encompassing both indoor and outdoor settings.

  • Requires 2-5 Years experience
