The Role of Process Engineer

Tronox is seeking a Process Engineer to join its team in Al Madinah, specifically in Yanbu or Medina. This full-time role is responsible for coordinating daily technical support and short-term technical improvements for SQLCST. The Process Engineer will focus on optimizing and designing processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality sustainably. This involves analyzing production workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing technical solutions to reduce costs and improve throughput. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical direction to the production department through general troubleshooting, monitoring process efficiency and product quality, and identifying process improvements.
• Take responsibility for all aspects of production, process, and metallurgical accounting, including completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and interpreting data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate improvements or small capital projects.
• Maintain and rigorously manage production data and databases.
• Identify any anomalies with the operation and maintenance of process control instrumentation and coordinate remedies as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Sound knowledge of mass balancing and reconciliation processes.
• Competence in data recording, trending, analysis, and interpretation, with a focus on improving all OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) levers.

This is a full-time position based in Al Madinah, with primary locations in Yanbu and Medina. The role involves working within a global company that values sustainability and continuous improvement.
