About the Role
UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking an Employee Relations Officer to foster positive relationships between employees and the organization. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining a productive and harmonious work environment by implementing policies, addressing conflicts, and promoting employee engagement.
Role Purpose and Impact
The Employee Relations Officer will be responsible for enforcing employee policies and procedures, resolving grievances, and enhancing morale. The role also involves providing guidance to both employees and management on employment laws, regulations, and company policies, while contributing to initiatives focused on improving employee satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote customer-centric services and fair, transparent people practices.
- Contribute ideas for smoother and efficient day-to-day operations.
- Ensure compliance with attendance protocols.
- Provide adequate support to employees regarding all their queries.
- Prepare and maintain employee files, ensuring all related documents throughout their lifecycle are properly filed.
- Stay informed about policy changes.
- Administer HR services precisely and timely, ensuring high-quality standards for all transactions.
- Execute transactions related to onboarding, offboarding, leave approvals, ticketing, medical insurance, reimbursements, personal information updates, business letter generation, and responses to ASK HR queries.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant HSEandE and QM policies, procedures, and controls across the department to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality service standards, and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- 2 years of experience in the GCC region is a plus.
