About the Role

DataAnnotation is seeking a linguistic analyst to join its team and contribute to the training of advanced AI models. The incumbent will evaluate the progress of AI-powered chatbots, analyze their logical reasoning capabilities, and identify and solve problems to improve the quality and performance of these models. This role requires a deep understanding of language and the ability to communicate effectively in both Arabic and English.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Present diverse and complex problems to AI-powered chatbots and critically evaluate their outputs.
• Evaluate the quality of AI model outputs in terms of accuracy, relevance, and overall performance.
• Engage in conversations with AI-powered chatbots in both Arabic and English to measure their progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Write original and contextually appropriate conversations to train AI models on required communication patterns and knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in linguistics.
• Proven experience in writing and grammar skills.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English is essential.
• Attention to detail in tasks and analyses.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not strictly required; current students or those with university degrees are welcome.

Work Environment and Contract

This is a full-time independent contractor position, requiring presence in Saudi Arabia. As a contractor with DataAnnotation, you will enjoy significant flexibility in your work:

• You will have the autonomy to choose the projects you want to work on and set your own working hours.
• You can work according to your own schedule, using your own computer, from your home.
• Projects are compensated hourly, starting at $25 USD per hour, with the potential for additional rates for specific projects.
• Payments will be processed via PayPal. DataAnnotation will never ask for any payments from applicants. PayPal will manage any necessary currency conversions from USD.
