You will also analyze the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are data-supported and significant to the field. A key aspect of the role is providing clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors, highlighting potential improvements, flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns. Your evaluation will inform the editor's decision on manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection.

Key Responsibilities in Detail

• Assess Novelty: Evaluate whether the manuscript presents original research that contributes new knowledge or insights to sports management.
• Evaluate Study Design and Methodology: Review the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of the research methods employed to ensure reproducibility.
• Literature Review Assessment: Ensure the manuscript adequately incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research in the field.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in sports management or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• A thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the discipline.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
