About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time, long-term remote position as a PhD Peer Reviewer for educational research. This role requires a strong academic background and a commitment to upholding the integrity of scholarly publishing.

Role Responsibilities

As a Peer Reviewer, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating the originality and contribution of submitted manuscripts to the field of study.
• Assessing the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verifying that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant and up-to-date research.
• Analyzing the clarity and appropriateness of results presentation, and ensuring conclusions are data-supported and significant.
• Providing clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors, highlighting potential flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Making recommendations regarding manuscript publication status (acceptance, revision, or rejection) to the journal editor.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field.
• A publication record of at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• A thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the relevant discipline.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback.
• The ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.

Desirable Experience

While not strictly mandatory, prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable. Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems is also beneficial.

Work Arrangement

This is a part-time, long-term, and stable position that supports remote work. The role is based in Saudi Arabia.
