About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a part-time PHD Peer Reviewer for Psychiatry to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This is a long-term, stable position that supports remote work. Candidates are asked to carefully review the requirements and accurately complete the application form.

Role Overview

The primary function of this role is to conduct thorough peer reviews of academic manuscripts within the field of Psychiatry. This involves critically evaluating research for originality, methodological soundness, and adherence to ethical standards, ultimately contributing to the quality and integrity of published scientific literature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts, determining their contribution to existing knowledge in Psychiatry.
  • Evaluate the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of the study design and methodologies employed, ensuring reproducibility.
  • Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research within the field.
  • Analyze the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are clearly supported by the data and are significant to the discipline.
  • Provide constructive feedback to authors, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, potential flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
  • Make recommendations to the journal editor regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection based on the evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a Doctorate (PhD) or an equivalent advanced degree in Psychiatry or a related subject area.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • A record of publishing at least 5 papers in SCI / SSCI journals within the past three years.
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.

Work Arrangement
