The Role: Safety Engineer

SSEM is seeking a Safety Engineer to join its HSE team in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing robust safety protocols within the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct safety training for workers and supervisors.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe work practices.
• Maintain comprehensive safety records and documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (minimum).
• Recognized HSE certification (*, NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA 30 Hours).
• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant safety engineering role.
• Knowledge of the construction industry.
• Good communication and monitoring skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• Previous client approvals (*, SEC, SWA, RC, Marafiq, GACA, Aramco) is considered a plus.
