Job Description

About the Role

Mindrift, in collaboration with Toloka, is launching a new field in management consulting focused on transforming real-world consulting expertise into structured learning environments for advanced AI systems. We are looking for experienced strategic consultants from reputable consulting firms to join our growing team. This role plays a crucial part in shaping how next-generation generative AI models learn, infer, and perform, by translating actual project expertise into comprehensive AI training examples.

Nature of the Role and Responsibilities

This is an individual contributor, project-based, remote role focused on analytical design and evaluation. You will contribute to building realistic consulting project environments and designing structured consulting tasks for AI agents, ensuring AI learns high-level business logic from practitioners trained on the highest standards of structured problem-solving and client service delivery.

Key Tasks

  • Build realistic consulting project environments by creating detailed project scenarios based on actual project dynamics, including industry context, financial aspects, constraints, conflicting inputs, and incomplete information.
  • Design structured consulting tasks for AI agents by breaking down projects into discrete tasks that mirror real consulting work, such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategy, operational diagnostics, and benchmarking.
  • Define evaluation criteria and quality metrics by developing rubrics, scoring rules, and golden answer solutions for each task, which will be used to train and calibrate a Large Language Model (LLM)-based evaluation system for assessing AI outputs at scale.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct, hands-on experience in one of the following leading strategy consulting firms: McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Bain & Company, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte (Deloitte S&C), EY-Parthenon, Kearney, or Strategy& (PwC).
  • Proven experience in structuring ambiguous client problems into actionable analytical plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to build financial models, conduct market analyses, or synthesize findings from complex, unstructured inputs.
  • Experience in producing client-ready deliverables under significant time pressure.
  • Track record of forming and justifying recommendations under conditions of uncertainty.
  • Strong structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in hypothesis-driven thinking.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear analytical steps and actionable outputs.
  • High degree of attention to logical consistency and output quality.
  • Independent and self-directed work style.
  • Proficiency in written English (B2+ level).
