Join Weatherford as a Repair & Maintenance Technician I - Liner Hangers!
In this entry-level role, you will provide hands-on technical support for the production and repair of equipment and tools in a shop environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, disassemble, clean, pressure test, visually check, paint, assemble, load, and store tools and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to all necessary documentation requirements.
  • Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, toolbox sessions, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and promptly report any issues using appropriate tools.
  • Follow maintenance processes and procedures to undertake tasks related to tools and equipment.
  • Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in a presentable and safe condition.
  • Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, hoists, cranes, and drills.
  • Inspect used parts to determine dimensional requirements using measuring instruments.
  • Utilize tools and lifting equipment for safe movement and storage of equipment.

  • Participate in health and safety activities, report hazards, and wear necessary safety equipment.
  • Engage in continuous safety training and familiarization with emergency procedures.

Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma in Maintenance Technician.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical components, electrical tools, wiring, and drawings is an advantage.
  • Good physical condition and ability to work in high-pressure environments with alternating shifts.

Job Purpose:
A Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment within a plant. This role involves performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and repairing components to minimize downtime and ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Equipment Operation: Ensure the proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, including LIMS guidelines.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Machinery, Equipment & Utilities Repairs and Maintenance.
  • Perform maintenance on TRUMPF Laser / Punching / Bending Machines and other CNC machinery.
  • Utility Maintenance including Compressors and Electric Stackers.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Team on daily shop floor activities.
  • Generate maintenance activity job reports and maintain service records.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Electrical & Electronics with good working knowledge in sheet metal fabrication machinery.
  • Minimum Experience: 5-7 years in maintenance, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing.
  • Good exposure to industrial maintenance in the Gulf region.

Behavioral Competencies:
  • Teamwork and communication.
  • Self-motivating with active coordination skills.
