About the Role

Conmarble is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires immediate joining and involves providing technical leadership and support for a high-end construction project. The project scope includes façade works, architectural finishes, BIM coordination, shop drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, consultant coordination, and site technical support.

Key Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will oversee all technical office activities and ensure effective coordination across various project stakeholders. This role requires a technically strong, organized, and proactive individual capable of managing complex technical processes and inter-team communications.

• Manage project technical office activities.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, BIM models, and technical details.
• Coordinate between architectural, civil, façade, structural, MEP, site, procurement, subcontractors, consultants, and document control teams.
• Manage technical submittals, material submittals, method statements, Requests for Information (RFIs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and consultant comments.
• Follow up on approvals, resubmissions, pending technical issues, and design changes.
• Support the site team with technical clarifications and approved details.
• Prepare technical reports, trackers, coordination summaries, and action lists.
• Ensure proper technical document traceability.
• Work effectively under fast-track project pressure and strict follow-up requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of total experience in construction projects.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Technical Engineer or Senior Technical Engineer.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical Manager.
• Experience in façade works and/or architectural finishes is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of practical BIM coordination or BIM model review experience.

Essential Skills

• Advanced English communication and writing skills.
• Strong experience in shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, consultant comments, and overall coordination processes.
• Demonstrated ability to be technically strong, organized, and proactive in a project environment.

Work Environment and Commitment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate must be ready to join immediately or within a maximum of 10 days. The role operates within a demanding, fast-track project environment that requires diligent follow-up and adherence to strict timelines.
