Role Overview:
As a Barista at Calo Cafe, you will work alongside the Cafe Manager to ensure smooth and efficient operations that align with our company standards. Your coffee knowledge and exceptional interpersonal skills will be essential in maintaining our customers’ satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to coffee recipes while preparing beverages.
  • Maintain brewing equipment functionality and report any issues.
  • Be attentive to customers’ orders and preferences.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor in line with Calo’s culture.
  • Ensure timely operations that meet our quality standards.
  • Resolve issues and manage any problematic situations effectively.
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain positive relationships with coworkers.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Barista in cafes.
  • Possess a certified Barista certificate.
  • Currently residing in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proficient in English communication.

Knowledge and Competency:
  • Strong coffee knowledge and familiarity with various mixtures.
  • Ability to differentiate coffee aromas and flavors.
  • Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Basic understanding and ability to learn new computer programs.

Personality Traits:
  • Strong communicator.
  • Pleasant personality, capable of leading with empathy.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Morning Routine: Open the coffee station, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
  • Inventory Check: Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary.
  • Beverage Preparation: Craft a variety of coffee and tea beverages to meet our high standards.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide a warm welcome and offer personalized drink recommendations.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless service during busy times.
  • Administrative Tasks: Document recipes and manage inventory accordingly.
  • Evening Wrap-Up: Clean and organize the coffee station for the next day.

What We Need From You
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Hotel or Business Administration.
  • 23 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is preferred.
