With over 10 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in our procurement operations, focusing on sourcing and procuring essential commodities such as soya, corn, poultry feed, and animal products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for commodity purchases.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for optimal quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Manage procurement of soya, corn, poultry-related items, and other animal products.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and vendor databases.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to streamline procurement operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Agriculture, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, specifically in commodities.
- Proven experience in purchasing soya, corn, poultry feed, or other animal-related products.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
