- Conducting psychosocial assessments and providing counseling therapy.
- Participating in the development of treatment and discharge plans.
- Coordinating follow-up services for inpatients and outpatients.
- Supporting families cope with grief and loss.
- Assisting patients in financial need.
- Documenting and reporting cases of abuse and domestic violence.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of community resources to assist patients.
