Your key duties

Translate a variety of documents - such as technical reports, contracts, drawings, manuals, and specifications - between Arabic and English, ensuring accuracy and tone are preserved.
Review and proofread translated materials to eliminate grammatical, linguistic, and typographical errors.
Interpret complex technical terminology clearly and accurately in both languages.
Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to clarify terminology and context.
Support internal and external communications by ensuring alignment with Buro Happold’s standards and messaging.
Maintain and update terminology databases and translation memory tools.
Work efficiently across multiple deadlines and content types, from legal and technical to commercial and academic.

Your Skills And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
Minimum of two years’ experience in technical translation, ideally within the consulting or engineering sectors.
Full professional fluency in Arabic and English, with a deep understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office, translation software, and document management systems.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a Saudi national.
