We are looking for a talented Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and create exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. Your expertise will shape the dining experience in our luxurious environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interviews, hire, evaluate, reward, and discipline kitchen personnel as necessary.
  • Orient and train kitchen team members in property and departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Train colleagues in food production principles and practices to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Plan and price menus while establishing portion sizes and service standards for all menu items.
  • Schedule kitchen personnel in relation to business forecasts and budget constraints.
  • Maintain payroll records accurately.
  • Educate kitchen personnel on safe operating procedures for all kitchen equipment and machinery.
  • Establish maintenance schedules for equipment based on manufacturer's instructions.
  • Provide comprehensive safety training in lifting, transporting hazardous materials, chemical control, first aid, and CPR.
  • Instill sanitation practices among kitchen staff and establish cleaning and stock rotation schedules.
  • Ensure the preparation of food retains maximum nutrients and meets special dietary requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all kinds of food with a main focus on Oriental cuisine for all banquet events and restaurants.
  • Create high-quality and original oriental food to satisfy customers.
  • Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.
  • Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation and stay updated with new Oriental recipes and techniques.
  • Update menu recipe cards and plan menus for promotions.
  • Attend daily chefs and banquet operational meetings.
  • Coordinate and participate with other sections for cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
  • Monitor freshness, presentation, and temperature of food served.

Skills and Qualifications:
You should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef's training course, along with previous experience in Oriental specialty cuisine and good culinary skills. Ability to communicate well in English and a proven track record in food preparation, presentation, and preservation is essential.
