About the Role

Tamara, a leading fintech platform in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region, is seeking a talented Product Designer to join its Product Design team. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping how users shop, pay, and bank. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to create functional and meaningful user experiences. The role requires a strong understanding of user behavior and business performance to deliver distinctive experiences. You will be responsible for translating conceptual ideas into tangible product features and guiding the user experience from conception through to launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate conceptual ideas into tangible product features.
• Lead end-to-end design processes, from research to UI/UX design, ensuring high-quality execution.
• Design user flows and experiences that simplify complex actions into usable interfaces.
• Actively provide and receive feedback from designers and the product team to enhance output quality.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, creative designers, and content strategists to oversee product user experience from conception to launch.
• Represent design to the broader product team and leadership, articulating the rationale behind design decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience designing and shipping features with an end-to-end experience across various platforms.
• A minimum of 2 years of interaction design experience, with the ability to define experience behavior based on user needs and product scalability.
• A minimum of 2 years of visual design experience, demonstrating proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic sense, and understanding their impact on product function.
• A minimum of 2 years of strategic product thinking experience, including developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on their impact on users and the company.
