Core Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules for all mechanical systems and facility equipment to prevent unexpected failures.
System Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot HVAC, fire suppression, plumbing, and mechanical power systems to improve energy efficiency and longevity.
Vendor Management: Supervise external contractors and service providers, ensuring all work meets safety standards and contractual obligations.
Emergency Response: Lead the diagnosis and repair of critical mechanical breakdowns, implementing swift solutions to maintain business continuity.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure the facility adheres to all local safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
Budgeting: Assist in managing the facilities budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities in spare parts procurement and utility consumption.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Proven experience in facility management or industrial maintenance (typically 3–5+ years).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and the capacity to lead technical teams under pressure.

Join Guardian Industries as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer!

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee, maintain, and improve the electrical and control systems of a glass production line. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment, automation systems, and industrial power distribution. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for all electrical and control components.

What You Will Do:

Perform electrical maintenance of equipment, including magnetron sputtering systems, power supplies, PLCs, drives, sensors, and control panels.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic faults on glass furnace and glass transport mechanisms.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all electrical systems and components on the coating line.
Support production by minimizing unplanned electrical downtime and ensuring maximum equipment availability.
Monitor electrical system performance and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for chronic electrical or automation failures.
Maintain up-to-date documentation, including electrical drawings, maintenance logs, and failure reports.
Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and process engineers to optimize equipment reliability and performance.
Recommend and implement improvements in electrical design, control logic, and energy efficiency.
Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components and coordinate with vendors for procurement and technical support.
Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and relevant regulations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Proven experience in electrical maintenance for continuous process operations.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and motor drives.
Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and control system integration (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic.
Understanding instrumentation, sensors, and process control systems.
Fluent in English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently under pressure and in rotating shifts (if required).

What Will Put You Ahead:

Experience in the glass industry (architectural, automotive, or solar manufacturing).
Practical knowledge of vacuum coating equipment, high-voltage power supplies, and automation networks (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols.
Experience with CMMS software (*, SAP PM, EAM)
Certification in electrical safety, automation, or reliability engineering is an advantage.

Working conditions:

Factory-based role with exposure to high-voltage systems, vacuum environments, and production machinery.
May require working in shifts or being on call during emergencies.
Use of PPE and adherence to strict safety standards is mandatory.
