Overview:
As an Accountant at SANKYU Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for preparing profit and loss statements, monthly closings, and cost accounting reports. You will compile and analyze financial information necessary to prepare entries to accounts and document business transactions. Your role will involve establishing and maintaining accounting procedures, as well as analyzing and reviewing budgets and expenditures for various funding sources.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing reports.
  • Compile and analyze financial information for account entries.
  • Establish and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures.
  • Monitor and review accounting reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and review budgets, revenue, and expense entries.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Interact with internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE rules and encourage reporting of unsafe acts.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant position.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 3 years in operational finance role
  • Experience in leading a team of at least 5 staff
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance and risk management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively with different departments
  • Hands-on to lead by example or coach the team
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
