Position: Payable Accountant

Join Total Safety as a Payable Accountant in Jubail, where your financial acumen will play a pivotal role in our operations. We are looking for a dedicated professional with strong accounting knowledge to handle various accounts payable duties.

Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Preparing monthly VAT returns.
  • Preparing WHT returns.
  • Preparing payment vouchers, checks, and journal entries.
  • Following up on advance payments to suppliers/employees.
  • Reconciling the book of accounts.
  • Recording bank deposits and updating cash receipt logs.
  • Posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
  • Performing daily AP reconciliations.
  • Preparing monthly/weekly payment forecast reports in collaboration with sales, operations, and procurement teams.
  • Handling petty cash.
  • Preparing AP aging and following up with procurement departments and suppliers.
  • Assisting with monthly and yearly closing processes.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the team lead/CA.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in English is a must.
  • High proficiency in Excel.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Knowledge about VAT and WHT.

About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Safety Officer to ensure compliance with our client's safety policies, procedures, and international standards. You will work on-site in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with client safety policies and international safety standards (OSHA, NEBOSH, etc.).

  • Support in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement lessons learned.
  • Conduct daily tool-box talks, safety inductions, and training programs.
  • Ensure all personnel are aware of emergency procedures and response plans.
  • Promote a safety culture among workers and contractors.
  • Maintain up-to-date HSE records and safety logs.
  • Coordinate with emergency response teams during events.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Must have good command of the English language.
  • NEBOSH IGC Certification is required.
  • Self-directed individual capable of minimal supervision.
  • 5 years of experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
  • No issues working in remote areas for extended periods.
