About the Role

Almarai is seeking a Divisional Engineering Manager (Farming) to join its team in Al-Kharj. Founded in 1977, Almarai is the world’s largest vertically integrated dairy company and a leading food and beverage manufacturer and distributor in the MENA region. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Role Objective

The primary objective of this role is to design, select, and maintain cost-efficient equipment and systems for refrigeration, water treatment, electrical, and agricultural machinery. The goal is to ensure these systems meet required standards, enabling the Farming Division to produce milk at the lowest possible cost while upholding safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement planned maintenance programs for all Engineering Department services to prevent production loss due to breakdowns.
• Approve the design of power distribution and services for new projects to ensure power supply suitability and equipment standardization across the Division.
• Monitor and control spare parts inventory levels (excluding Parlour) within the Farming Division to meet agreed levels with GM Farming.
• Design, specify, and select equipment and systems that meet or exceed safety standards outlined in the Almarai Health and Safety Manual or recognized international standards (*, European or American) to ensure a safe work environment.

Employee Development and Knowledge Management

A key responsibility includes developing and training all employees within the Engineering Department through internal or external courses. This ensures staff possess the necessary knowledge and skills to repair and maintain all equipment and utility services required by the Farming Division. The role also involves the knowledge of designing and implementing preventive maintenance and stock control systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Required experience: 5-10 years.
• Experience in designing, selecting, and maintaining engineering systems relevant to farming operations.
• Proficiency in implementing maintenance programs and inventory control.
• Familiarity with safety standards and their implementation.
