About the Divisional Quality Assurance Manager Role

Almarai, the world's largest vertically integrated dairy company and a leading food and beverage manufacturer in MENA, is seeking a Divisional Quality Assurance Manager for its Dairy & Infant Nutrition Business Unit. This full-time position, based in Al-Kharj, requires a leader accountable for driving business performance through adherence to Quality Management Systems. The role involves providing strategic leadership across divisional quality functions, processes, and teams to achieve key business and quality objectives.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Divisional Quality Assurance Manager will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality across the division. This includes developing and implementing robust quality management and food safety programs. The role demands expertise in managing external partners, such as suppliers and third-party providers, to uphold Almarai's commitment to quality. Strategic planning and decision-making are central to this position, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving business performance through full compliance with Quality Management Systems.
  • Providing strategic leadership across divisional quality functions, processes, and teams.
  • Developing and implementing quality management and food safety programs.
  • Managing external partners, including suppliers and third-party providers.
  • Ensuring achievement of business and quality objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Food/Dairy Science, Microbiology, Applied Science, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is considered an advantage. Relevant certifications such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, or ISO 9001 (Lead Auditor preferred) are highly desirable. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Management within a multinational dairy, infant nutrition, or pharmaceutical environment. Experience in regulatory interaction, crisis management, and facility start-ups, expansions, and validation activities is essential.
