The Career Nest is partnering with an upscale neighbourhood restaurant in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, known for its French Riviera-inspired dining experience. This full-time position is for a Junior Sous Chef to join a kitchen team focused on exceptional food and warm hospitality. The role offers a monthly salary of 8,000 SAR.

Role Overview

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will provide essential support to the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the daily management of kitchen operations. This position requires a culinary professional who can serve as both a technical anchor and an emerging leader, overseeing food preparation, maintaining rigorous standards, and taking charge of the line during busy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure precision, consistency, and quality across all sections during every service.
• Motivate, train, and support the kitchen brigade, leading by example and stepping in to manage kitchen operations when required.
• Strictly enforce food safety and hygiene protocols across all stations, ensuring a compliant and clean working environment.
• Manage inventory control, stock rotation, and kitchen flow, adapting to the demands of busy services.

Required Experience and Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in a culinary role, preferably within a fast-paced, upscale dining environment.
• Demonstrated technical excellence in food preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Proven leadership abilities, including mentoring and motivating kitchen staff.
• Strong understanding and strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing demands in a dynamic kitchen setting.
