Role Overview

The Lead Engineer Roads will be responsible for the technical delivery of road design packages for infrastructure and development projects. This full-time position involves guiding project teams through various design stages and ensuring compliance with quality assurance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and produce the technical delivery of road design packages on infrastructure and development projects.
• Perform and review engineering calculations, design reports, drawings, and BIM models.
• Guide project teams through concept, preliminary, detailed, and construction design stages.
• Review road safety, operation, constructability, and maintenance requirements.
• Prepare and present technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Support planning of resources and workload across design teams.
• Conduct IDC and IDR reviews and ensure resolution of review comments.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth.
• Review project submissions before issue to ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
• Keep management informed of project progress, challenges, and delivery risks.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in roads engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery of road design packages.
• Proficiency in engineering calculations, design reports, drawings, and BIM models.

Work Environment

This role is based in Al Khobar, Eastern, and offers the opportunity to work on projects within the Kingdom and GCC region.
