Role Purpose

The NCS Engineer contributes to the design and implementation of engineering solutions, supports the development of engineering standards, and participates in evaluating the quality of engineering works. This role involves working under guidance to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements, while also contributing to product development and process improvement initiatives within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions to validate designs and provide feedback.
• Support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications, and evaluate their effectiveness under the guidance of senior colleagues.
• Conduct inspections under supervision to assess the quality of engineering works or the integrity of existing installations, recommending remedial actions to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate activities of subcontractors and suppliers, acting as a primary point of contact within an established contract management plan.
• Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, utilizing established change management programs to address them.
• Provide support and advice to others to optimize the use of knowledge management systems.
• Perform product and/or solution development and engineering activities, using established systems to analyze customer needs and deliver products/services.
• Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific project goals.
• Develop personal capabilities through participation in assessment, development planning, formal and informal training, and maintaining external professional accreditation and industry knowledge.

Required Experience and Qualifications
