Job Description

About the Role

Al-Qadsiah Saudi Club is seeking a dedicated Player Care Manager for its Women's First Team. This full-time position, based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, focuses on providing comprehensive operational, logistical, and wellbeing support to players. The role ensures a seamless transition for both local and international players into the club and the local community, managing off-pitch logistics and personal welfare to support optimal performance.

Relocation and Onboarding Responsibilities

  • Coordinate player and staff relocation, including sourcing appropriate, secure, and fully furnished accommodation in Al Khobar.
  • Manage airport arrivals, temporary accommodation, and transport orientation for new arrivals.
  • Support players with setting up essential services such as bank accounts, mobile phone contracts, utilities, and internet services.
  • Work closely with HR and Government Relations to coordinate visas, residency permits (Iqama), and medical screening requirements.

Player Welfare and Lifestyle Support

  • Act as the primary off-pitch point of contact for players and staff, providing support with personal welfare, healthcare, and day-to-day living.
  • Deliver cultural orientation sessions to assist international players in integrating into Saudi Arabia.
  • Coordinate access to lifestyle education, language lessons, and personal development opportunities.
  • Support players' families with school enrolment, childcare, and wider community integration where required.

Matchday and Team Operations

  • Work closely with the Team Manager to coordinate hotel allocations and player welfare during away fixtures.
  • Manage ticket requests for players' family and friends at home and away matches.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Commercial departments to coordinate player appearances while ensuring player welfare remains the priority.

Player Development and Transition

  • Organise workshops covering key life skills including financial literacy, media training, and career transition planning.
  • Manage the off-boarding process for departing players, including accommodation, account closures, and relocation logistics.
  • Support players throughout every stage of their journey with the club.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Player Care Manager position should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant player care, sports administration, or support role. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage player logistics and welfare.
