About the Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Principal Technical Professional - Telecommunication to join its multi-discipline engineering teams in Al Khobar. This full-time role focuses on delivering comprehensive telecommunication and security solutions for greenfield and brownfield projects within the oil and gas and petrochemical industries. The position requires over 15 years of specialized expertise in crafting and executing these solutions across various project phases.

Role Overview and Project Engagement

The Principal Technical Professional will contribute to projects spanning conceptual studies, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and detailed design through to complete installations. This involves translating client technical requirements into robust commercial design solutions and managing interfaces between various package vendors. The role demands hands-on project experience in designing telecommunications solutions for both offshore and onshore environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop philosophies, specifications, block drawings, and datasheets for various telecommunication systems.
• Support the creation of drawings, layouts, cable routing drawings, cable schedules, interconnection and termination diagrams, and telecom installation drawings.
• Prepare scope of works, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and material requests.
• Review telecommunications vendor documentation and manage interfaces between package vendors.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 15 years of expertise in crafting and executing comprehensive telecom and security solutions for oil and gas and petrochemical projects.
• Demonstrated successful delivery experience in telecommunications systems, translating client technical requirements into commercial design solutions.
• Hands-on project experience in designing telecommunications solutions for offshore or onshore environments.
• Familiarity with HCIS and Saudi Aramco standards and procedures is essential.
• RCDD and PSP certification are preferable.
