About the Role
Applus+ is seeking a QC Instrument Inspector for a contract position in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality of instrumentation installations and compliance with project specifications, particularly within Saudi Aramco projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in this field.
Role Overview
The QC Instrument Inspector is responsible for conducting comprehensive quality inspections of instrumentation works. This includes verifying compliance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and overall project quality requirements. A key aspect of this role involves mandatory hands-on experience with Saudi Aramco JKT & PDM inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct instrumentation inspections in adherence to approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and ITP requirements.
- Perform and support JKT & PDM inspections as per Saudi Aramco standards.
- Inspect instrument installation, tubing, cabling, junction boxes, termination, and related works.
- Verify materials, workmanship, installation, testing, and calibration activities for quality compliance.
- Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, commissioning, and QC teams to resolve inspection issues.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality records, and related documentation.
- Follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions to ensure timely closure.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant experience as a QC Instrument Inspector in Oil & Gas/EPC projects.
- Mandatory Saudi Aramco JKT & PDM inspection experience.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation inspection procedures, ITPs, drawings, and project specifications.
- Experience in instrument installation, testing, and calibration inspection.
Required Skills

- Proficiency in documentation and reporting.
Work Details
This is a contract position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
