About the Role
Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a QC Inspector Instrument Project to join their team in Al Jubail, Al Jubayl. This full-time role involves performing inspection and testing of instrumentation construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final inspections on instrumentation installation works.
- Witness loop checks, calibration, and instrument testing activities in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
- Verify instrument installation, tubing, and wiring against approved drawings and specifications.
- Confirm materials and instruments match material certificates and specifications.
- Document inspection results and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary.
- Coordinate hold points and inspections with client and third-party inspectors.
- Maintain comprehensive inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
- Verify the calibration status of all test and measuring equipment used on site.
- Support the generation of punch-lists and verify the closure of identified items for instrumentation works.
- Ensure work fronts adhere to approved method statements and instrumentation standards.
- Assist in the preparation of quality documentation for instrumentation handover dossiers.
Performance Evaluation
Performance in this role will be evaluated based on several key indicators, ensuring high standards of quality control and project compliance.
- Accuracy and completeness of inspections.
- Timely identification and reporting of non-conformances.
- First-time inspection pass rate on assigned work fronts.
- Adherence to inspection schedules and hold points.
- Quality and thoroughness of inspection documentation.
Required Experience
Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in quality control inspection, specifically within instrumentation projects.
