About the Role

Kempinski Hotels is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is essential for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel premises.

Role Overview

The Room Attendant is primarily responsible for the meticulous cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, corridors, floor public areas, and pantries. This role ensures that all assigned areas meet the hotel's established cleanliness and operational standards, contributing directly to a comfortable and pleasant experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms, which includes making beds, dusting furniture, replenishing supplies, cleaning bathrooms, and vacuuming carpets according to hotel standards.
• Inspect all room items for proper condition and functionality, reporting any repair needs to the Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness in corridors, floor public areas surrounding assigned rooms, and ensure equipment and pantries are kept tidy.
• Stay informed about hotel products and services to effectively answer guest inquiries and provide accurate information.
• Address guest questions and requests courteously, taking appropriate action or escalating matters to relevant personnel when necessary.
• Document relevant information on assignment sheets and report special attention guests, unusual situations, or incidents requiring follow-up at the end of each shift.
• Verify the physical status of rooms and communicate any discrepancies to the Order Taker.
• Immediately report lost and found items to the Supervisor and Order Taker, coordinating retrieval as required.
• Provide turn-down service for assigned guest rooms, adhering to hotel standards for bed preparation, supply replenishment, and bathroom cleaning if needed.
• Assist in managing guest and cleaning supplies to support cost control efforts.
• Perform cleaning for late check-outs and late service requests, ensuring all tasks are completed to hotel standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a foundational understanding of housekeeping operations within a hospitality environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence are essential for success in this role.
