Sales Manager (Saudis only)

About the Role

Kempinski Hotels is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position is responsible for achieving hotel revenue targets by optimizing sales from an assigned account base and prospecting new clients in designated markets. Performance will be primarily measured against revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage key accounts within an assigned client base or geographic area to maximize revenue, achieve personal targets, and increase market share against competitors.
• Prospect and acquire new accounts.
• Oversee all segments of assigned geographical markets, which may include European markets.
• Conduct site inspections for potential clients.
• Adhere to Corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Follow up on tentative bookings within assigned markets.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the competitor set and all hotel services, facts, and figures.
• Ensure timely contracting with clients.
• Implement SMART contracting strategies for optimal yielding during annual rate negotiations.
• Attend trade shows, sales blitzes, and workshops in assigned markets.
• Support the Director of Sales / Director of Sales & Marketing in developing and executing the annual sales action plan.
• Assist with annual budget preparation by providing account production statistics and forecasts.
• Execute sales actions within the allocated cost budget.
• Document all sales activities in SFA (Sales & Catering) and update the OPERA contact database.
• Cross-sell other Kempinski Hotels.
• Understand and adhere to the Company Sales Vision.
• Participate in the Duty Manager rota.
• Strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations in the Employees Handbook and hotel policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety.
• Report and rectify all potential and actual hazards immediately.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, within the hospitality sector at Kempinski Hotels.
