About Refad and the Role

Refad is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading architectural design, coordination, and supervision activities for various projects. The primary objective is to ensure the seamless integration of architectural systems with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines. The position focuses on architectural design review, site supervision, including curtain wall and façade systems, interior finishing works, and material selection, with a strong emphasis on Revit-based design management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design coordination throughout both design and construction phases.
• Review and coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Manage and review façade and curtain wall systems, including the approval of shop drawings.
• Oversee interior finishing works, material selection, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure BIM/Revit model coordination and maintain design accuracy.
• Conduct constructability reviews and provide technical support during project execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor design quality, compliance, and the timely delivery of project milestones.

Qualifications and Experience

• Architectural Engineering certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience specifically in façade, curtain wall systems, and finishing works.
• Proven experience managing large-scale mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, or residential developments.
• Experience within real estate development, façade engineering firms, international consultants, or design-build contractors.
