About the Role

INTECH Automation & Intelligence is seeking an experienced Site Engineering / Construction Manager to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in managing complex site engineering and construction activities. The role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects, particularly those involving the installation and commissioning of control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA packages, instrumentation, and structural steel. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all site engineering and construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Resolve engineering issues by analyzing data, researching problems, adapting techniques, and recommending solutions.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams for accuracy and compliance.
• Facilitate team communication and coordination, obtaining expert input and reviewing action items to maintain project momentum.
• Contribute to team meetings and reports, providing project status updates, identifying risks, and escalating impediments.
• Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and standards, promoting a strong safety culture.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure installations and commissioning meet required standards.
• Plan and manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, for efficient project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, work quality, and compliance with design and safety regulations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders on-site, addressing concerns regarding project progress and engineering solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or a related field).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in site engineering and construction management.
• Specific expertise in control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA panels, ESD/SIS systems, and instrumentation packages.
• Proven experience on projects for Saudi Aramco or similar large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, construction practices, and safety regulations.
• Expertise in engineering principles related to control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA architectures, and instrumentation packages.
• Experience in managing site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Ability to prepare, review, and modify engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated experience managing site engineering and construction activities for large-scale EPC projects, focusing on control systems, automation, and instrumentation installations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco’s project standards and requirements is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills to identify engineering challenges and implement effective solutions.
